How to find a quality directory?

You have already heard this before in forum, in blogs, “submit your site into quality directory only”. But,what are the quality directories? How do you define whether a particular directory is a quality one or not? Right now, we are going to discuss with you regarding quality directories.

Niche Directories are quality ones : A directory based on your topic is always a quality one for you no matter whether it has 0 or 5 PR, paid, free or reciprocal. Always submit your site into niche directories. Why is that so? Since Google loves links related to your site theme and if they are one way, then it is like icing on a cake. No matter what, always submit your site into directories related with high PR.
Older the directory, the better: Always submit your site into directories existed for more than 2 years. These directories are reliable, and getting a link from them means that your link will remain permanent. It is easy to find age of directories, since most of the directory list like vmoptions and directory critic mention the launch date of directories with URL. Though in most of them approval time is higher, but once your site got approved, it will serve a quality link for your website.
PR of a directory: A directory with high PR is always a quality one, though most of the High PR Directories are paid or reciprocal, but there are free high PR directories which have free submission. You can find free high PR directories in Vmoptions.com
Subcategories in a directory: An ideal directory should be split into proper categories, always make sure that category relevant to your site exist or not. If it doesn’t exist then there is no point submitting your site into that directory.
Do Follow Pages: Some directories have no follow tag in their inner pages. Always check whether directory has no follow link or not. If it has no follow link present in inner pages of its website, then there is no need to submit your site into it.
No of Pages Present: Always check the no of pages present in a category where you are going to submit your site. Make sure that there are not more than 3 pages in your relevant category, more the number of pages, more time Google robot will take time in crawling your link.

Why deep link directory submission is necessary?

Why a client hires an seo? simple, to rank his site well on competitive keywords so that he can get online orders for his site. But, most of the seo, infact 90% of seo concentrates on home page to rank well. The problem is that home page keywords often have high competition which results in longer time to rank site on primary keywords. But the client won't understand this, he may get upset on not seeing his site in top 10 and that will really create bad impression for you.

To avoid it, I suggest you to promote inner pages of website side by side with home page. Most of the time inner pages have less competition than home page, little bit of promotion of inner pages can rank your site well and bring business for your client.

To promote your website inner pages, it's necessary to submit your site to deep link directories, directories that accept inner pages of websites.A little bit of submission can play a vital role in promoting your site inner pages, hence can bring money for your website.

what does url already exists means?

On doing directory submission, you must have encountered a message
while doing it "url already exists in directory" what does that mean?, it means that site is already listed in directory or submission have been done, now waiting for approval.

Most of the people skip that directory, but you can still submit your site into that directory in a category different than previous one. For instance, if you have submitted your site into travel->hotel category on first time, you can submit your site into Business->Business Services category next time. Most of the sites accept sites in multiple categories. They mention in their guidelines which most people do not read.

On second submission if your site is still giving the same message ( url already exists) then skip that directory there is no use submitting your site into it.

Different IP Directory Submission

Hi All,

Back after a long time, I am updating my blog. But this time, I have decided that I

will update my blog regularly and give you vital information regarding directory submission.

Today I am going to talk about Different IP Directory Submission

In most of the freelancing sites, I have seen the requirement for different IP directory submission. Means every directoy you submit should have different

IP address.

Most of the websites opt this for link building, but why it is gaining popular, the reason is that if you submit your site to directories
with same IP address, it will be counted just as 1 link.

For instance if I submit my site to 10 directories having same IP address say 59.87.233.21, no matter my site get approved in 1 directory or 10, google will
always count it as 1 link.

But, if you submit your site to directories with different IP address and your site gets approved, you will have more than 1 link.
That's why different IP address directories submission is getting popular among link builders.
